Synopsis

Two Irish orphans travel across America by train, encountering villains and heroes alike

They make an extraordinary friend and search for a new home, facing adventures and dangers along the way. The main character “Nick” is based on the director’s son, Nico, who had the same condition.

I loved this film!

The film is dedicated to him, as he passed away in 2021. It was great to see a representation of a child with a disability, which resonated deeply with me as I work with children with disabilities.

My 5-year-old son also enjoyed it

The plot isn’t very deep, but it’s one of my favorite animated films in a while – heartfelt and funny. Some scenes, like the ones with the wolves and guns, were a little scary for my daughter, but not overly so.

One of the best animated films I’ve seen in a while

She loved the characters, especially Sparky the dog, who was a delightful addition. A touching and inclusive story that made me cry in the best way.

I agree with the other comment, much better than any recent Disney movie I’ve seen
