Synopsis
Deadpool is granted a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman explore memorable credits, interesting facts, achievements and trivia pulled directly from their IMDb name pages.. He later said he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in seeing the two characters meet on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return for this film, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut,” adding that he wanted to have the best possible time on set with Ryan Reynolds. Likewise, Reynolds wanted to work alongside Jackman since the first Deadpool film and was saddened when he (Jackman) withdrew from the role.

It’s not perfect, but it’s still pretty damn fun. Lately, there’s been a temptation to see films that aren’t perfect as disappointments, and I hope that’s not the case here. Deadpool and Wolverine have been teaming up since 2009. The film aims to strike a balance between being accessible to casual viewers while satisfying die-hard fans of the characters. However, the film also faces the challenge of navigating the complex and intricate web of continuity that exists in the Marvel universe.

Despite the potential baggage of their expansive continuity, Deadpool and Wolverine work independently..
