Abrams’ “Lost” almost had an entirely different cast

Synopsis

The survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island. J.J. See which celebrities missed out on one of the most popular TV shows of all time. The character Sawyer was originally intended to be an older, dapper, suited-up city hustler from Buffalo, NY.

However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and subsequently kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the character Sawyer and decided to write Sawyer more as a shady, Southern drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans marry, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, it’s not even allowed in Korea to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare circumstances.

The eerie opening credits were designed by J.J. Abrams on his black and white laptop as a homage to The Twilight Zone. Lost is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best TV shows I have ever seen. What can be said about this incredible show that hasn’t already been said?

I will never understand why people give a show a low rating just because the ending wasn’t great

If you read any list of the best shows of all time, I guarantee that Lost will be on that list. The one thing I recommend, however, is to not do anything else while watching this show, give it your full attention because there are so many twists, easter eggs, and little details that you will miss if you aren’t paying attention. Now, the ending wasn’t as good as people expected, but that doesn’t take away from the 6 seasons and 120 episodes that came before it. Lost was on the air for 6 years and over 120 hours of TV that you enjoyed, a few bad moments at the end don’t take away from all the time you loved it.

I didn’t even think the ending was that bad, it just could have been better

Obviously, it would be better if the ending was as good as the show, but when a show is as good as Lost, it’s hard to satisfy all the fans. Overall, Lost is one of the best TV shows of all time and is a must-watch.
