Synopsis

The actors are really good
This show is ridiculously unrealistic, but tbh I don’t even care. Of course, it’s not supposed to be the most serious show of all time, so I’m perfectly happy that it does a pretty decent job with its acting (nothing great, of course). too old for the roles they were playing until Sarah said she was only 16, I wasn’t sure how old they were supposed to be.
But whatever, it’s nothing new
Casting age-appropriate actors is very difficult, so I can’t really deduct points from that show. I CAN’T WAIT for Season 2. It got SO much better with each episode and honestly at the end this felt like a really quality production and it’s a really good setup for a possible second season.
Netflix, you’ve done it again!
What impressed me the most was how well the dialogue was written, it was really believable. If you can ignore the fact that they don’t look 16 at all, they certainly act like a bunch of stupid 16 year olds. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly—here’s the entire lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
