Synopsis

The Garvey sisters are united by the death of their parents and a promise to always protect each other. Sharon Hogan (Eva) is the sister of former Irish rugby player Shane Hogan. Eve Hewson (Becka) is the daughter of U2’s Bono.

Brian Gleeson (Thomas) is the son of actor Brendan Gleeson and the brother of actor Domhnall Gleeson. Bad Sisters is brilliant in every detail, starting with its incredibly good script. But it’s also technically excellent, with a great soundtrack and cinematography, along with some great locations.

So we all end up in conflict – great!

The cast is excellent, clearly having a good time with their material and making many laugh out loud, but also quite capable of the chaos that is required for this type of show. Bad Sisters is a true black comedy in every sense of the word – but one that evokes sympathy – with a rich vein of Irish humor that rises to the surface and makes us care about the sisters’ fortunes. So, even though the girls are not good, the question always remains – “But are they really?” – because we identify with their situation and the judgments they make.

I’m rooting for the sisters!

If you are an overly sensitive man, that is, a man with an open mind, you don’t have to worry about anything. If you don’t like the worst traits of male behavior exposed and punished accordingly, you really should watch this show and sensitize yourself, it will do you some good and give you some perspective on how selfishness has left everyone else behind. Male rudeness . Well done!
