OBSCENED BY LIGHT draws back the curtain on Loïe Fuller (1862-1928), a remarkably original performer who pioneered modern dance by combining fabric and movement to develop an entirely new kind of spectacle. Creating a dialogue between the past and the present, directors Sabine Krayenbuhle and Zeva Oelbaum explore the astonishing influence Fuller has had on contemporary culture, including artists such as Taylor Swift, Bill T.
