Remake of Le Bureau des Legends (2015)

I have to say that I was lucky enough that a couple of years ago I watched The Bureau, and to be honest, it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Up until that point, nothing came even remotely close to it. There is a correlation between both series, obviously it was mentioned that it was “influenced” by it, but I honestly wasn’t expecting a similar story.

You won’t regret it

Don’t get me wrong, the series so far is amazing, great cast, good cinematography, but it’s not something I haven’t already seen in the French version. It’s too early to say how it will turn out, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t seen Bureau to watch it. After Fassbender played a professional hitman in David Fincher’s film The Killer, and I saw that he was in the cast, I immediately knew he was a great choice for the role.

It’s not something you would watch while riding your bike on the indoor trainer

Those kinds of series actually require some concentration while watching, so you can be aware of all the characters in the story and the little details about them. Some would even consider them slow, maybe even boring, but exactly those characteristics and complicated personal battles the characters have, plus the slow build-up of tension, is what makes them great in my opinion. Those kinds of series you either love or you don’t like at all, there’s no middle ground.
